Our Tesla Model 3 SR + (affectionately called Tess) has driven 62,000 km and had a few punches, so now is the time to get her going. You know, a little botox on the backside, some make-up on the hood, new glasses or even contact lenses and of course the all-important rhinoplasty.
An elderly gentleman backed up his fully loaded truck into Tess and gave her more than a new dimple in her bum. The drive to Warwick left some ugly stone chips in your hood and our recent trip to Winton added a chip in the windshield.
Fortunately, all of this is covered by insurance and was quickly taken care of by very helpful trading people.

And the nose job? Well, it’s more of a job on the nose. Tess is starting to smell of us! On the one hand, this is due to the fact that we operate the air conditioning as a recycle in order to avoid the harmful exhaust gases generously emitted by our fellow road users, and on the other hand, because we need a new air filter.

We watched the youtube videos how to do it ourselves and thought no we can afford to pay for it looks a bit complicated. We’re going to use some of the money we save by not having to pay gasoline or oil – plus the fact that our Rego is only half what we used to pay for our V6 Sonata.
Well, the wonderful Tesla technician was and has gone and changed the filters quickly and efficiently. The look of the old filters removed a lot of debris from the air we breathe. We look forward to the next trip so that we can enjoy the fresh air that circulates in our car.
Thanks also to O’Brien’s for repairing the windshield chip and Drive Accident Solutions for repairs to the rear.
