Known for her brave personality, Mathira has made some interesting revelations regarding the plastic surgery controversy that is often associated with her.
In a recent interview with Ahsan Khan, along with her sister Rose, the TV host revealed that while she has never gone under the knife for cosmetic surgery, she recently had liposuction.
Mathira reveals: “If I had performed such operations, I would have confessed to them.
“I had liposuction and I have it.”
Mathira kept the conversation clear while she talked about her public image and her beginnings as a video jockey.
Commenting on her controversial TV commercials and hypersexual image, Mathira said:
“I think everyone sees me according to their way of thinking.”
Mathira’s comments led Ahsan Khan to ask her if her image was due solely to people’s mindsets or if she played an active role in shaping it.
Mathira replied:
“I am a wild person, I am energetic.”
“I do everything I like because I did a lot for someone else for a while, but then I realized that if you don’t love yourself, you won’t love the other person in front of you either.”
The daughter of a South African father and a Pakistani mother, Mathira and her sister moved to Pakistan from Zimbabwe in 2005.
During her appearance on Time Out with Ahsan Khan, Mathira stated that she did not understand Urdu well in the early days of her career.
Mathira reveals: “To be honest, I didn’t understand half of what was said at the time because I didn’t know Urdu that well.”
The TV host and model further stated that she maintained a calm and collected demeanor when callers called and made suggestive comments.
In 2013, Mathira was criticized for appearing in an ad for contraceptives.
The ad was labeled “indecent and immoral” by the Pakistani Electronic Media Regulator (PEMRA).
When asked if her behavior can be considered acceptable, Mathira said:
“It doesn’t hurt anyone. I just live my life the way I am. “
“I would wear shorts in Zimbabwe and now I wear shorts too.
“I’m not the kind of person who will behave in a certain way abroad and dress differently here. I can’t be You have to accept me for who I am. “
